Win A Prize By Collecting Invoice in Taiwan [Fun Fact]
Not so many countries in the world doing this…the government in Taiwan allocates a budget for the prize of “Invoice Number” annually.
The government announces the lucky numbers on the 25th of every Jan, Mar, May, Jul, Sept, Nov. You can check out all invoices you have and see if your number is the same as the one announced.
The biggest prize is around US$330,000! The 2nd biggest is around US$66,666. And the lowest prize is US$6.6.
What is the chance of winning prize?
The chance of bring the biggest prize home is around 0.000001%.
How about it for the lowest prize? 0.3%.

If you can get around 200 pcs of invoices every two months, I think the chance is really high for you to win at least one prize. From my experience, I am not going to say I am a lucky guy…but my longest record is winning at least one prizes 6 times in a row.
But it’s difficult for tourists to claim the prize in Taiwan unless you stay here for at least 2 months.
